Carisoul Architecture was started in 2003 by Architect Jo‐Ann Murrell and in 2013 the company was incorporated to form Carisoul Architecture Co. Ltd.
Passionate and driven by her love of architecture and the challenge of working closely with clients, Jo‐Ann Murrell has enjoyed over 30 years experience as an architect and project manager. She enjoys taking her clients’ ideas and bringing them to fruition in a way that surpasses her clients’ expectations.
The name Carisoul Architecture means, “architecture that captures the essence and the soul of the Caribbean and its people.” As a result, Ms. Murrell’s work reflects Contemporary Caribbean Architecture that is climatically responsive and sustainable. Her buildings and spaces respond to the natural environment and incorporate energy saving and water conservation strategies wherever possible.
